Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of competence, compensation
and career development on employee performance of PT BPR BKK Purwokerto.
Sample that used in this research were employees of PT BPR BKK Purwokerto as
many as 160 respondents using accidental sampling proportionally. The analysis
used in this research are F test, t test and adjusted R2.
The results of this research based on the F test stated that competence,
compensation and career development had a significant effect on employee
performance. Based on the t test obtained; (a) competence has a significant
positive effect on employee performance. (b) compensation has a significant
positive effect on employee performance. (c) career development has a significant
positive effect on employee performance. Based on the coefficient of
determination R2 adjusted, it shows the magnitude of influence of competence,
compensation and career development on employee performance by 56,4%, while
the remaining 43,6% is influenced by variables outside the research model.
