Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the schools’ readiness and
implementation of technology 4.0 in 15 state junior high schools in Banyumas
Regency in learning Indonesian.
The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach using descriptive
research methods. This research model uses a questionnaire namely the technology
readiness research questionnaire 4.0 and the technology 4.0implementation
research questionnaire. Technological 4.0 readiness uses six ELR factors, namely
(1) readiness of students (2) teacher readiness (3) infrastructure readiness (4)
management readiness (5) school culture readiness (6) teaching and learning
readiness, while technology 4.0 implementation uses 3 factors, namely
implementation factors by teachers, implementation factors by students and
implementation factors by the principals. The research sites were 15 state junior
high schools in Banyumas Regency. Respondents in this study were Indonesian
language teachers, students and school principals.
Teachers' readiness in facing the Industrial Revolution era 4.0 based on the ELR
rating scale used in the category of ready to implement but requires a slight increase,
this can be seen from the ELR score as follows: student readiness 4.0, teacher
readiness 4.19, infrastructure readiness 4.09, management readiness 4.22, school
culture readiness 4.15, teaching and learning readiness 3.97.
Implementation of technology 4.0 in 15 state junior high schools in Banyumas
Regency from the teacher factor reached an average of 62.22%, from the student
factor an average of 63.6% and from the principal factor 61.87% meant that
technology 4.0 had been implemented but needed improvement.
