This research analyzed the effect of firm size, liquidity, profitability, asset
structure, business risk and growth opportunity on capital structure. The sample was
34 of property and realestate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in
the period of 2016-2018 and the data were 97 samples. Purposive sampling was the
technique used to take the sample. The analysis descriptive statistic and regression
analysis. The result of the analysis indicate that the firm size variable has a
significant positive effect on capital structure, liquidity has a significant negative
effect on capital structure, profitability, has a significant negative effect on capital
structure, asset structure has a significant negative effect on capital structure,
business risk has a significant positive effect on captal structure and growth
opportunity has a significant positive effect on capital structure.
