This research aimed to 1) develop 21st-century competence-based videoscribe learning media, 2) find out the appropriateness of the media, and3)find out the students' and teachers' responses to the media. This research and development were done using Research and Development model design and the steps included define, design, develop, and disseminate. The development of videoscribe media on the learning process used the collaboration model of type 5E including Engage, Explore, Explain, Extend or Elaborate, and Evaluate. The results showed that videoscribe learning media that has been developed was appropriate to be used as learning media. After validation and testing, the average scores included: media expert(4.50), language expert(4.25), media and language expert(4.08). From the results, it could be concluded that this learning media was able to help teachers explain the material, improve learning achievement, help students understand the material, and attract students' attention so this media was appropriate to be used as learning media.
