Starfruit plant is a source of natural antioxidants because it contains flavonoids. This study aims to determine the good characteristics of the starfruit leaf extract. Then can determine the antioxidant activity of the face mist preparation of starfruit leaf extract and the stability of the face mist preparation of starfruit leaf extract. The method used in this study was to extract starfruit leaves, extract characteristics of starfruit leaf extract, manufacture face mist formulations for starfruit leaf extract, test preparation stability, and test antioxidant activity on starfruit leaf extract and face mist from starfruit leaf extract. The characteristic results of the thick extract of starfruit leaves have a thick extract texture, a distinctive odor of starfruit leaves, blackish green brown color, and a bitter taste. The ethanol extract of belimbing wuluh leaves has moderate antioxidant activity. In the results of SPSS One Way Anova, the stability of the face mist preparation of starfruit leaf extract was stable for 6 cycles. The face mist of starfruit leaf extract in the three formulas had moderate antioxidant activity. In conclusion, face mist of belimbing wuluh leaf extract can be a cosmetic preparation that has efficacy as an antioxidant.
