This research aims to determine the skill effect on work rotation relationships on the performance of Ace Hardware Purwokerto employees. The variables tested in this study are skills as a moderating variable, job rotation as an independent variable and employee performance as the dependent variable. The research method used in this study is qualitative. The population in this study were all employees of the stand and shop section of Ace Hardware Purwokerto. The sample used in this study was all members of the population consisting of 106 stand and shop employees. Analysis of the data used in this study is a linear regression analysis and multiple tests at a significance level of 95%. The program used in analyzing data uses Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) Ver 20.00 and manual calculations for the sobel test. Based on the research results partially work rotation affects skills, job rotation affects employee performance, skill variables are able to mediate the relationship between work rotation and employee performance. The skill variable is able to mediate job rotation moderately.
