Abstract

The recitation method in online learning underlies researchers conducting research because this
method has an important role in the independence of students. This study aims to (1) describe the
supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of the Recitation Method through
Online Learning Media on the Independent Attitudes of Students in Social Studies lesson content
at SDN 2 Wirasana Purbalingga, (2) describe the teacher's role in the implementation of the
Recitation Method through Online Learning Media on Attitudes. Student Independence in Social
Studies lesson content at SDN 2 Wirasana Purbalingga, (3) describes the results of online
learning using the recitation method on the Attitude of Independent Students in Social Studies
lesson content at SDN 2 Wirasana Purbalingga. The research subjects were the principal, fifth
grade teacher, and fifth grade students of SD N 2 Wirasana Purbalingga. This type of
research is
descriptive qualitative using a case study approach. Data collection techniques are
observation,
interviews, and documentation. Techniques The validity of the data using triangulation of
sources and techniques. With the results of research on the implementation of the recitation
method through online learning media on the independence attitude of fifth grade
students at
SDN 2 Wirasana Purbalingga through the teacher's role in the learning process,
habituation
activities can achieve the goal seen from the aspect of knowledge and attitudes of
high grade
students reflected in the online learning process with The recitation method can foster student
learning independence in terms of internal factors, including: not depending on others, having a
responsible attitude, being confident, self-evaluating and having the awareness to study
independently well.
