Abstract

Classroom management is one of the factors that can affect student
motivation and achievement. Teachers must have good classroom management
skills. The research abjectives are: 1) to analyze and prove the effect of classroom
management by Indonesian teachers on student motivation; 2) analyze and prove
the effect of classroom management by Indonesian language teachers on student
achievement; and 3) prove which one is more affected by class management,
learning motivation or student achievement.
The results showed that: 1) there is a positive and significant effect of
classroom management of Indonesian teachers on student motivation. This
influence is indicated by a coefficient value of 0.326 or 32.6%, this means that the
remaining 67.4% is influenced by factors other than the variables used in this
study; 2) there is a positive and significant effect of classroom management by
Indonesian teachers on student achievement. This influence is indicated by a
coefficient value of 0.314 or 31.4%, this means that the remaining 68.6% is
influenced by factors other than the variables used in this study; and the variable
affected by the classroom management of Indonesian teachers is the variable of
student learning motivation. This can be stated because the effect of classroom
management on student learning motivation is 0,326 > 0,314 from the effect of
classroom management by Indonesian teachers on student achievement.
