This Research was motivated by the low mastery of concepts and student learning
outcomes, low mastery of concepts and student learning outcomes is influenced
by how to teach teacher who are relatively boring so that the impact of student
responses to learning is low. The purpose of this study is to improve the mastery
of concepts and learning outcomes through the application of the discovery
learning model in learning. In this study , using a qualitative descriptive approach.
Objek this research is the fourth grade student at SDN 2 Nusamangir. The nomina
were collected through observation, inteviews, and documentation. In addition,
the researcher also examined the lesson plans to match them with learning
activities whether they were appropriate or not so that the nomina . The results
sho that implementation of the discovery learning models has many benefits and
advantages when apllied to thematic learning in the 2013 curriculum.
