Abstract

Discrimination issues in Hayden Schlossberg and John Hurwitz’s movie Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay. Undergraduate thesis for SarjanaSastra Degree, English Department, Faculty of Letters, University of MuhammadiyahPurwokerto.

This research aims to find out and analyzehow discrimination happened in America sociality through Hayden Schlossberg and John Hurwitz’s movie Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay by usingfilmsemiotic theory and supported by cinematography. From the analysis, the researcher finds behavior of human who show discrimination around their environment.
