Indonesia is the country's diverse ethnic and cultural. Culture
contains moral values that can be applied in everyday life. Indang Lengger
dance is a form of culture that contains moral values in the Village District
Karangjati Susukan Banjarnegara District. With the picture above, entitled
Research Moral Values in Indang Lengger Dance in the Village District
Karangjati Susukan Banjarnegara district. The purpose of this study is to
reveal The Moral Values that exist in the Dance Indang Lengger in the
Village District Karangjati Susukan Banjarnegara District.
The purpose of this study is to reveal the moral values that exist in
the dance Indang Lengger in the Village District Karangjati Susukan
Banjarnegara District.
The data collection method used for this study included qualitative
research is descriptive method of research that is interview, observation, and
documentation. More detailed study was conducted based on the facts. To
obtain clear picture researchers conducted interviews with several sources that
are considered to understand the art of Indang Lengger dance and things to do
with the problems examined. Furthermore, researchers conducting direct
observation in an artistic Indang Lengger dance performances and
documenting existing data. Then the data collected were analyzed using
qualitative descriptive analysis techniques covering the steps of reduction,
data display, and conclusion. The approach used in this research that Semiotic
approach.
This research produced the conclusion that the art of Indang Lengger
dance contain moral values that benefit the people of Indonesia. These moral
values can be observed through music, song, dance, offerings, and stories.
Moral Values in the art of Indang Lengger dance include the value of respect
towards each other, aesthetic and entertainment value, the value of fraternal
unity, and friendship, value equation of equity and justice, the value of
harmony and concord, the value of cooperation and mutual cooperation, the
value of truth and honesty, the value of simplicity and unpretentious, the value
of humble decency to respect other people respect, without discrimination, the
value of happiness and hard work, the value of gentleness and wisdom. The
value of leadership and obedience to the leadership, advice and education
value, the value of responsibility, the sanctity of body and soul.
