Abstract

The research aimed at knowing the effect of gender role, working
satisfaction, organizational commitment toward changing job pretension partially
or completely.
The samples were taken by using purposive sampling in order to get the
samples based on the criteria. The criteria were civil servants minimum for 2
years. The data were analyzed by using mulitple linear regression test with the
significant level of (α) 0,05.
The result showed that the gender role did not affect significantly toward
changing job potension with the significance value of 0,731>0.05. The working
satisfaction affected significantly toward changing job pretension with the
significance value 0,000<0,05. The organizational commitment affected
significantly toward changing job pretension with the significance value of
0,002<0,05.
The leader was suggested to improve working satisfaction and
organizational commitment by providing better facilities. Moreover, to improve
togetherness among the servants, gathering activities were necessary to be held
like routine recitation, recreation, outbond etc for servants and their family.
