Abstract
The research aimed at knowing the effect of promotional mix variabel which
consisted of promotion, personal selling, publicity, selling promotion towards
purchasing dicision. In this research, the variabel was tested by using multiple
regression test and simple regression.
The data in this research was taken from the questionnaire result (primary) with the
five levels likert scales and the sampling used quota sampling method. The
respondents in this research were 96 respondents.
Based on F test in this research, it can be concluded that variabel of promotion,
personal selling, publicity, and selling promotion has positively and simultaneously
affected the variabel of purchasing decision. Based on t test, it can be known that
promotion has negative and not significant toward the variabel of purchasing
decision, personal selling has positive effect, publicity has begative and not positively
significant towards the purchasing decision and selling promotion has positive effect
toward the purchasing decision.
