The Qur'an tahfidz house program is an academic and practical activity that
focuses on memorizing the Qur'an with various methods that make memorizers not
easily forget. the implementation of the Al-Quran tahfidz house program at MAN
2 Banyumas as a means for character formation for students, especially religious
characters. The formation of character in students through the tahfidz house
program is a capital so that students stay away from acts that are not in accordance
with Islamic law and have morals both inside and outside school. This study aims
to determine the implementation of the Qur'an tahfidz house program in the
formation of students' character as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in the
implementation of the Qur'an tahfidz house program at MAN 2 Banyumas.
This research includes field research using a qualitative approach with a
qualitative descriptive research type. The subjects of the research are two teachers
of the Al-Qur'an tahfidz house program and students of MAN 2 Banyumas. The
techniques for collecting data use interviews, observations, and documentation. The
techniques for analyzing data use data reduction, data presentation, and drawing
conclusions.
The results of the study show that the Qur'an tahfidz house program at MAN
2 Banyumas is running well and achieving the goal of forming the character of
students, especially religious/Islamic characters through the Qur'an tahfidz house
program. This shows that students have begun to avoid things that are contrary to
religious teachings and violate the rules, including reading the Qur'an consistently,
memorizing and reciting the Qur'an every day, and praying in congregation in
obligatory and sunnah prayers every day. The supporting and inhibiting factors in
the implementation of the tahfidz al-qur'an house program at MAN 2 Banyumas are
from the students themselves (internal factors) and from the facilities/facilities
provided by the madrasah (external factors).
