This research aims to describe several hyperbolic figure of speech contained
in the lyrics of the song on the album "Monokrom" by Tulus. The data in this study are
in the form of words, phrases, clauses, sentences, or fragments of song lyrics which
can be categorized as containing certain figures of speech. Meanwhile, the data
source in this study is songs on the album "Monochrome" by Asli. Listening and
noting techniques were used to collect data. The validity of the data in this study used
a source triangulation credibility test. The data analysis technique used in this
research is content analysis technique. The research results show that there is a
hyperbolic figure of speech. Hyperbolic is the most common figure of speech in this
research.
