Abstract

In the Kurikulum Merdeka whose spirit is taken from the philosophy of Ki
Hajar Dewantara, the self-regulation variable reviewed from the type of parenting
style is one of the important predictors that influences the educational goal, namely
student wellbeing. The objectives of this study are: 1) To analyze the extent to which
self-regulation influences wellbeing reviewed from the type of parenting style; and
2) To analyze whether there is a correlation between self-regulation and student
wellbeing. The results of the study showed that there was a significant influence
between the self-regulation variable on student wellbeing reviewed from the type of
authoritative or authoritarian parenting style. However, in permissive parents, the
influence was not significant with a Sig value (0.118)> α (0.05), this means that H0
is accepted. The results of the next analysis stated that the self-regulation and
wellbeing variables had a moderate correlation and a positive value of 0.514. This
means that an increase in the value of the regulation variable will be followed by
an increase in the value of the wellbeing variable, and vice versa.
