This study aims to introduce loose-parts media to promote more creative and
engaging learning experiences. Loose-parts media is designed to improve
children's creativity in early childhood education, fostering consistent and
enjoyable creative thinking. This accessibility within the surrounding
environment underscores the importance of parental support, as creativity
nurtures children's confidence and ability to innovate. The research utilized a
descriptive qualitative method, conducted at Aisyiyah Kasih lbu Kindergarten in
Glempang Village, Pekuncen District, Banyumas Regency. Data were gathered
through observation, interviews, and documentation, with analysis techniques
following those outlined by Arikunto et al. (2006:131). Despite typical school
activities such as drawing and coloring with crayons and marker books,
children often experience boredom. This leads to solitary play and aimless
running around the classroom, ultimately dampening their interest in learning.
The study aimed to assess the developmental impact of loose parts media on
early childhood creativity. Classroom action research, conducted from March
25, 2024, to April 3, 2024, involved the classroom teacher as the subject and
proceeded through initial conditions, cycle I, and cycle II phases. Findings
revealed initial signs of creativity development with the introduction of loose
parts media. Subsequent cycles demonstrated further improvement,. with
significant progress observed during cycle I. Ultimately, creativity flourished
notably during cycle II. In conclusion, embracing learning through loose parts
media can significantly enrich early childhood learners' creative capacities at
Aisyiyah Kasih lbu Kindergarten in Glempang Village, Pekuncen District,
Banyumas Regency.
