Abstract

This research was conducted due to the problem of the limited improvement
of cognitive abilities in learning, as evidenced by tests conducted by the researcher.
The researcher's effort to overcome this issue is by implementing instructional
media using interactive video technology. This thesis aims to analyze the effects of
using interactive video technology on enhancing cognitive abilities in early
childhood at TK A (first-year studentsa) Aisyiyah Kemantran. The research method
used is experimental, with a pre-test and post-test control group design. The
research sample used total sampling, which was the same as the population of 31
children. This thesis collects data from TK A Aisyiyah Kemantran. Data were
collected through cognitive ability tests before and after the intervention. The
results of the data analysis show a significant improvement in cognitive abilities in
class A. This thesis used the t-test with the results of the paired sample test obtained
from the pretest and posttest values of 0.0000.05, thus rejecting the H0 and
accepting Ha with a significant level of 0.05. This indicates that interactive video
technology can effectively enhance the cognitive abilities of early childhood
children at TK A Aisyiyah Kemantran. This research implies the importance of
integrating technology in early childhood education to improve the quality of
education at that level.
