This study aims to enhance the science skills of children in the second year grade of TK Pertiwi
Jatisaba located in Cilongok District, during the academic year of 2023/2024. This Classroom
Action Research (CAR) was conducted in 2 cycles, each consisting of 3 meetings. The research
subjects were 14 students from the second year grade of TK Pertiwi Jatisaba comprising 5 girls
and 9 boys. Data collection methods used in this study include observation, interviews, and
documentation. Problem-solving steps in this research consist of planning, implementing actions,
observation, and reflection. The data analysis used descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of
the analysis in this study show a significant improvement in children's science skills. Initially, none
of the 14 observed children (0%) showed developing very well, 0% met developing as expected,
25% were starting to develop, and 75% were not developing. After science learning in Cycle I,
there were 14% of children developing very well, 43% meeting developing as expected, 43%
starting to develop, and 0% not developing. Furthermore, in Cycle 11, 65% of children showed
developing very well, 28% met developing as expected, and 7% were starting to develop.
