Abstract

In line with the development of the times, the condition of declining good character, especially peace-loving character among students, is a concern and requires mutual attention. The fading of peace-loving character among students is marked by the decline in students' polite attitudes towards teachers, school residents, and fellow students, such as; Rude words, bullying, and reluctant to appreciate differences based on elements of ethnicity, religion, race, intergroup. So the reflection of the character of love during the learning process is the right time to instill and strengthen the character of peace-loving. The implementation of character education to develop students' peace-loving values in Civic Education learning is seen as a process that can provide potential for behavior change based on good and bad values and norms that must be obeyed, In line with the role of the Civic Education subject itself. This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, and evaluation in the implementation of character education in civies education learning to develop peace-loving values at SD N Karangasem 02 Sampang, Cilacap. This research uses qualitative research that is descriptive in the type of case study. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out using four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions.The results of this study show that: (1) Planning carried out at SDN Kraangasem 02 by holding coordination meetings every Friday in developing a syllabus to the integrated learning implementation plan, the implementation of 5M with learning by doing includes educational visits in school programs, as well as familiarization of regulations with established Standard Operating Procedures, and evaluation using non-test assessments carried out based on daily assessments at the time of Learning.
