Abstract

During the learning process activities students are less active. Learning does not
emphasize student-centered learning. Students have not mastered learning with
the correct concept. So far, students have not been able to optimally develop
critical thinking skills and creative thinking skills of SD Negeri Bener 01 students.
This study aims to explain the effect of the Predicate Observation Explain (POE)
Model on the critical thinking skills of SD Negeri Bener 01 students. To explain
the effect of the Predicate Model Observation Explain (POE) on the creative skills
of grade VI students at SD Negeri Bener 01. This research is a quantitative study.
The participants in this study were Grade VI students at SD Negeri Bener 01. The
data collection technique used an essay test (to collect data on students' critical
thinking skills and creative thinking skills). The results of the study show that 1)
With the POE model there are students' critical thinking skills at SD Negeri Bener
01 with an average of 87.29; 2) With the POE model, there are Creative thinking
skills of SD Negeri Bener 01 students with an average of 87.39. The POE learning
model is very effectively used to train students' critical and creative thinking
skills.
