This research is entitled ''Classification of Main Character Emotions in the
Wanita Baik untuk Lelaki Baik Novel by Taufiqurrahman Al-Azizy’’ that aims to
describe emotions of the main character through analytical dramatic painting
technique. This study used the psychology of literature using classification of
emotions of the main character in the Wanita Baik untuk Lelaki Baik novel by
Taufiqurrahman Al-Azizy as the object. The data source was the Wanita Baik untuk
Lelaki Baik novel by Taufiqurrahman Al-Azizy. The data were collected through
readin and note-taking techniques, and then analyzed using data collection, data
reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research
revealed the emotions of the main character consisting of: (1) fear expressed
through anxiety, (2) guilt shown through a sense of awareness, (3) jealousy
depicted through fear of loss due to lack of self-confidence, (4) sadness due to
calamity and loss, (5) embarrasment due to lack of confidence and discomfort, (6)
joy as achieving something new, (7) love, and (8) anger manifested through actions
and expressions.
