Abstract
This research aims to analyze the entrepreneurship character through the bazaar
program, analyze the forms of the creative economy resulting from bazaar activities
and analyze the factors that influence the process of growing the entrepreneurship
character through bazaar activities at SMP Negeri 1 Cilacap. This research was
conducted with a qualitative approach using the phenomenological study method.
Phenomenological studies are believed to be able to provide a comprehensive
understanding based on the perspectives of school committees, principal, vice
principals, teachers and students regarding the bazaar program in cultivating
students' entrepreneurship character. Data collection was carried out using the
methods of observation, documentation and in-depth interviews with informants.
This research shows that the bazaar program at SMP Negeri 1 Cilacap cultivates
the entrepeneurship character of the students. The program is an entrepreneurship
skills education program that focuses on buying and selling activities. The activities
are carried out at school. The main target is the students. The entrepreneurship
character of the students of SMP Negeri 1 Cilacap looks good. The entrepreneurship
character that grows in students of SMP Negeri 1 Cilacap includes discipline,
independence, responsibility, communication, creativity, innovation, courage to
take risks, and leadership. In its implementation, the bazaar program at SMP Negeri
1 Cilacap is done through buying and selling activities. It is carried out in the school
yard and it is undeniable that this program involves all components of the school,
such as students (production and distribution), teachers (consumers), and school
staffs (consumers). There are also external parties who support this activity such as
the parents of students who come to school and act as consumers. The driving and
inhibiting factors are factors that are felt by students, principals and teachers.
