Abstract

With the development of technology and competition in all fields of industry,
companies are required to develop human resources. So many variables need to be
considered in order to increase employee capacity. Hotel Java Heritage is one of the
oldest and best hotels in the city of Purwokerto, therefore researchers are interested in
examining cyberloafing, job satisfaction and work commitment variables on employee
performance. Researchers used quantitative research methods to calculate the results
of the answers to the questionnaires distributed. The results showed that cyberloafing
and work commitment had a significant positive effect on performance with each value,
namely t count 0,41 and -0,028, while the job satisfaction variable had a negative effect
with t count -0,045. So it can be concluded that the three variables show an effect on
employee performance.
