Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of brand image, product quality,
price, and consumer satisfaction on purchasing decisions for Adidas sports shoes.
The population in this study were students of Jenderal Soedirman University,
Muhammadiyah Purwokerto University, and Purwokerto State Islamic Institute
who wore Adidas sports shoes. The sample selection in this study was carried out
by purposive sampling, obtained 114 students who became the sample and data
were obtained from respondents using a research instrument using a
questionnaire. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple regression
analysis. The results of this study indicate that the variables of brand image,
product quality, price, and customer satisfaction simultaneously have a
significant effect on purchasing decisions for Adidas sports shoes. Product quality
and customer satisfaction variables partially have a positive and significant effect
on purchasing decisions, but the brand image and price variables partially do not
have a significant effect on purchasing decisions for Adidas sports shoes.
