Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of student learning styles and the factors
that influence the formation of learning styles in remote learning at SDN 1
Somogede. The importance of this study is to ease the teachers by providing a
supportive environment for the learning process so that students can absorb
information maximally. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach, and
the methods used observation, interviews, and documentation. Participants in this
study were students of grade V, classroom teacher of grade V, and parents of
students. Data validity test used source and technique triangulation. Data
analysis techniques used the Miles Huberman model including data collection,
data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this
study indicate that students do not only have one learning style, of the six students
the most dominant forms of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles are
auditory and kinesthetic. Three students have an auditorial style, three others
have a kinesthetic style, and two students have a visual style. Factors that affect
learning styles are internal factors of students such as interest, high motivation to
learn and to get the best learning outcomes. External factors, related to family
and school, are supportive parents by providing adequate learning facilities, and
schools, which provide a comfortable learning environment.
