Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of career development and rewards on employee performance with job satisfaction as mediation at PT. BPR Surya Yudhakencana Purbalingga. The population in this study are all permanent employees of PT. BPR Surya Yudhakencana Purbalingga except for the security guard and OB. The sample used in this study were 106 employees using the slovin formula. The analysis used is the t test, Sobel test, Regression Analysis and Test the Coefficient of Determination (R2). Based on the results of the t test concluded; (a) Career development has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (b) Reward has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (c) Career development has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (d) Reward has no effect on employee performance. The results of the Sobel test concluded that (e) Job satisfaction is unable to mediate the effect of career development on employee performance. (f) Job satisfaction is able to mediate the effect of rewards on employee performance.
