Abstract
This analysis is entitled Analysis of Genetic Structralism in Rotasi dan Revolusi novel by Crowdstroia. This study aims to describe the intrinsic elements in the Rotasi dan Revolusi novel, describe the author’s point of view, and provide an overview of social setting when the novel was written. This stdy used a genetic structuralism approach through descriptive qualitative to describe the aims of the study by using qualitative data. The data source was the Rotasi and Rotasi novel by Crowdstroia. Data collection techniques used reading and note-taking techniques. The research results are divided into three; the intrinsic element of the novel, the author's point of view, and the social setting of the novel. The intrinsic elements of the novel include: (1) the theme of the novel is humanity (2) the novel plot is mixed (3) the main characters in this novel are Trivia Ganggarespati and Arraf Abizard Rauf (4) the setting used by the author is the university where the characters study, cafes, and houses. The second is the author's point of view in Rotasi dan Revolusi by Crowdstroia, including self-love, masculinity in society, and relationships in society. The third result is the social setting when the novel was written, which was from 2018 to 2019, in which acts of violence against women experienced an increase. Moreover, the popularity of the After novel which normalizes toxic and abusive relationships has attracted the interest of more than 500 million readers.
