Community activities are starting to return to normal after the pandemic,
one of which includes the world of education. The occurrence of the Covid-19
pandemic, of course, has a negative impact on students' self-adjustment in learning
at school. In learning, there needs to be an adjustment process in which to face a
new atmosphere.
This research was conducted with the aim of describing the post-pandemic
adjustment of SMP Muhammadiyah Ajibarang students. This research uses a
quantitative research method. Respondents in this study were students of SMP
Muhammadiyah Ajibarang grades VIII and IX, totaling 173 students. The method
used in this research is simple random sampling.
On the self-adjustment scale the validity score moves from 0.231 to 0.542
with 24 valid items and a reliable value of 0.614. Based on the results of the
quantitative descriptive analysis, the percentage obtained with the research results
shows that there are 2.3% or 4 students have very high self-adjustment, 22.5% or
39 students have high self-adjustment, 60.1% or 104 students have moderate selfadjustment,
10.4% or 18 students have low self-adjustment, 4.6% or 8 students have
very low self-adjustment .
Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the post-pandemic
level of adjustment of SMP Muhammadiyah Ajibarang students is in the moderate
category of a total of 173 students in general.
