This study was aimed to describe the mathematical problem-solving ability of students in grade IX B SMP Islam Terpadu Harapan Bunda Purwokerto viewed from the extrovert-introvert personality type. The method used in this study was descriptive qualitative with a purposive sampling technique. There were 3 students were chosen to be respondents from each personality type. Questionnaires, tests, interviews, and documentation were used as data collection techniques. Miles and Huberman's model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions were used as the data analysis technique. The results showed that: (1) problem-solving ability of students with an extroverted personality was able to understand the problem, plan strategies, apply strategies to solve problems, and re-examine the results obtained, (2) Problem-solving ability of students with introverted personality types were able to understand the problem and plan a solution to the problem.
