Abstract
The study entitled Development of Drama Learning Electronic Books (E-Books:
Theory and Practice) aimed to determine the needs of teachers and students for
drama learning books. Besides, it intended to look for the prototype, expert
validation, and the quality of the drama learning e-book compiled by the author.
This development research utilized the Borg Gall model by adjusting seven stages
out of ten stages, namely (1) Research and Information Collecting, (2) Develop
Preliminary Form a Product, (3) Preliminary Field Testing, (4) Main Product
Revision, (5) Main Field Testing, (6) Operational Product Revision, (7)
Dissemination and Implementation. The development of the e-book that the author
compiled consisted of five chapters. The first to the fifth chapter covered the
material on the nature of drama, the history of drama development, types of drama,
drama in a two-dimensional study, and the basics of playing drama, respectively.
The final result of the study was based on the second stage of expert validation
which discovered 75% with Good (B) criteria, and the expert judgment on media
was 77.5% with Good (B) criteria. The last was the product feasibility test with the
acquisition of 88.9% with very good criteria (SB). It can be drawn that the prototype
of the Electronic Book (E-Book) Drama Learning: Theory and Practice is stated as
valid and suitable for use.
