Education is the most important thing for every country to educate its people so that a country will be more advanced in its development if has the qualified education system. Elementary school as one of the educational institutions has a top priority in organizing the learning process. One of the subjects that need to be taught in the schools is Cultural Arts and Crafts (SBdP). This study aims to determine the learning strategies used by teachers in SBdP subjects in elementary schools. This research is a type of qualitative research with descriptive research methods with the subject of one teacher and four students in Fourth grade SD Negeri 1 Sidabowa. Observation, interviews, and document analysis were used to collect data. The results of this study indicate that teachers use learning strategies for SBdP subjects in fourth grade. The SBdP learning process in fourth grade cannot be separated from the use of teacher learning strategies that are also adapted to the characteristics of the students. Along with the experience of teachers who are not art teachers or artists, they continue to teach SBdP learning with learning strategies that are carried out to achieve a learning goal.
