Abstract

This study aims to find empirical evidence of the influence of Directors 'Gender Diversity, Directors' Education and Intellectual Capital on the company's financial performance proxied by Return on Assets. Population in this study were the main board of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2013-2018 periods. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique and obtained 26 sample of Main Board Conventional Banking companies with 156 observational data. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the Education variables of the Directors and Intellectual Capital have positive effect on the company's financial performance, while the Gender Diversity of the Directors has no affect on the company's financial performance. This research implies that the Main Board Conventional Banking Company with a high ratio of economic-educated directors and Intellectual Capital will increase the value of the company's financial performance. Meanwhile, whatever the size of the gender ratio of female directors are not guarantee an increasing the company's financial performance. This research is expected to provide benefits to the Main Board Conventional Banking Companies in order to be able to optimize the company's financial performance.
