Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of salary satisfaction and organizational climate on turnover intention with organizational commitment as a mediating variable on employees of Panti Nugroho Hospital Purbalingga. The research method used in this study is a quantitative research method. The population in this study were employees of Panti Nugroho Purbalingga Hospital. The sampling technique in this study used incidental sampling technique. The number of samples in this study amounted to 134 respondents. The analytical method used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis, model fit test (F), t test and Sobel test.
Based on the results of the model fit test (F), model 1 and model 2 have met the model fit. The results of the t-test concluded that (a) Salary satisfaction has a significant effect on organizational commitment (b) organizational climate has a significant effect on organizational commitment (c) Salary satisfaction has a significant negative effect on turnover intention (d) Organizational climate has a significant negative effect on turnover intention (e ) Organizational commitment has no significant effect on turnover intention. The results of the Sobel test concluded that (a) Salary satisfaction had no significant effect on turnover intention through organizational commitment (b) Organizational climate had no significant effect on turnover intention through organizational commitment. The results of the coefficient of determination test (R2) model 1 show the magnitude of the influence of salary satisfaction, and organizational climate on organizational commitment by 23.8%. The results of the Adjusted coefficient of determination (R2) model 2 show the effect of salary satisfaction, organizational climate and organizational commitment on turnover intention of 9.7%.
