Abstract
As teachers in the digital era, 21st-century teachers are expected to be able to create technology-based learning media, one of which is animation-based media. This study used Research and Development (RnD) research method by Sugiyono. The media that had been developed as an animated video using Animaker explaining the circumference and area of plane figures. The media was also completed with questions about operating calculators in order to improve students students' understanding of arithmetic operations. The concept of circumference and area of plane figures was integrated with an appropriate learning model, namely The Delikan learning model which is designed to teach facts and concepts. The purpose of this study was to develop media, to determine the feasibility of the media and to determine the responses of teachers and students. The product validity obtained an average score of 88.4% and was categorized as very valid. The response of teachers and students was positive with the average score of the teacher's response of 85% and categorized very good. The student’s response obtained an average score of 98.5% and was categorized as very interesting. Based on the analysis of the validator's questionnaire and the responses of teachers and students, the animated video using Animaker has met the criteria of classroom learning media.
