Abstract

In general, road damages are caused by various factors such as the road design life, puddles of water on the road surface due to poor drainage, excessive repetitive traffic loads (overloaded) causing the road life to be shorter than planned. Losses suffered by road users due to road damage include traffic accidents, longer travel time, traffic congestion, and others. The research objectives are to determine damage levels using the asphalt institute method and to find out what treatment can be implemented Sokaraja-Kaliori Road. This research was conducted using secondary and primary data. The secondary data is Research Stationing data obtained from PPK 2.4 of Jawa Tengah Province; the primary data obtained during the survey were geometric data of road length and width, data on types of road damage, data on the severity of road damage. Based on the results of the study, the results obtained were alligator cracking = 0.653 %, rutting = 0.9041, bleeding = 0.8309, shoving = 0.5947, potholes = 0.02, aggregate release = 0.7057, weathering/raveling = 0 ,4905, single crack = 0.1567, corrugation = 0.0518, quality of vehicle comfort = 4,4074 %, total damage value = 4,4074 %. After the analysis, the condition value is 95,59 % indicated a low level of damage, and the type of routine maintenance was implemented.
