This study aims to determine the description of the self-efficacy of adolescents with multiple disabilities. The focus of this research is to understand the description of adolescents with multiple disabilities to achieve self-efficacy in four aspects, namely aspects of self-experience, experience of others, motivation, and physical condition. The four aspects in the picture of self-efficacy show that events that occur in individuals affect situations such as emotional states that are selfish rather than the influence of others. Aspects that occur usually exist to achieve goals and in which there is an ongoing regulation of human functions (Bandura, 1997).
This research method uses a qualitative approach with an instrumental case study research type. The selection of participants used non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. This study used two participants in achieving double-blind adolescents. The data collection process uses semi-structured interviews and is analyzed using theory-driven thematic analysis.
The results of this study indicate that the description of the self-efficacy of adolescents with multiple disabilities between its components has a close difference between each participant. One of the participants had an aspect that in his past experience he was able to beat many people in chess matches. In other participants, the aspects of their past experiences were still very small. The aspect of support by others was very large given to both participants. Both participants must have their own role models such as people who are admired or as examples in pursuing their goals. However, in terms of their physical condition, the participants did not find it difficult to carry out activities or even develop their talents.
