Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of organizational commitment as Mediation variables influence the competence variable on employee performance. The sample in this research was a health worker at Permata Medika Kebumen General Hospital totaling 116 respondents. The sampling technique in this research uses saturated sample (census). Data analysis techniques used in this research are: multiple regression analysis, t test, F test, and Sobel test. T test analysis results show that competence significantly influences organizational commitment, competence has a significant effect on employee performance, organizational commitment significant effect on employee performance, sobel test results indicate that organizational commitment is able to mediate the relationship of competence on employee performance.
