This study aims to describe the mathematical problem-solving abilities in terms of the learning styles of class VII students of SMP N 4 Purwokerto. The method used is descriptive qualitative with questionnaire methods, test questions, and interviews. Based on their learning styles, students are grouped into three: (1) Visual learning styles (2) Auditorial learning styles (3) Kinesthetic learning styles and three students are taken from each learning style category as respondents. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, tests and interviews. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that: (1) Students with a visual learning style were able to carry out problem-solving steps well; (2) Students with auditory learning styles are able to carry out problem-solving steps but have a low level of accuracy (3) Students with kinesthetic learning styles are quite able to carry out problem-solving steps but have difficulty in reviewing the results of their answers.
