The bus stop as a place to wait for the bus arrival is an essential infrastructure and
needs to get attention too. One of which is the level of effectiveness of the bus stop.
This study reviewed the effectiveness of the Transjateng BRT bus stops in Purwokerto
City based on the conditions and layout of the bus stops. Based on the results of the
study, it was discovered as follow: (a) there were 5 bus stops with the high level of
effectiveness, 11 bus stops with medium effectiveness, and 14 bus stops with a low
effectiveness, (b) 5 bus stops with good facilities, 3 bus stops with sufficient facilities
and 22 bus stops with bad facilities, (c) 9 bus stops were considered with a good
physical condition, 9 bus stop there are, 16 bus stops were considered fair enough, and
5 bus stops were in bad conditions with all the facilities at the bus stops meeting the
standards (d) there were 29 bus stops which have unstandardized dimensions, and 1
stop met the standard. (e) Based on the location of bus stops in traffic space, there
were 13 bus stops with good placement, 13 bus stops with fair placement, and 4 bus
stop with bad placement.
