This study aims to describe the adaptive mathematical reasoning ability of class VIII students of MTs Minhajut Tholabah in terms of the gender of the students in the data analysis material. This study uses qualitative research methods and uses the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions and verification. The data source in this study were students of class VIII A. The research subjects were obtained using purposive sampling technique, students were categorized into 2 categories, namely male and female students. Each category was selected by three students for research purposes. Data collection methods in this study used tests, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it can be said that male students have been able and fulfill two of the three indicators of adaptive reasoning ability namely composing and submitting allegations and linking ideas to draw conclusions, while female students have been able and fulfill the three indicators of adaptive reasoning ability namely composing and submitting allegations, investigating and evaluating allegations, and linking ideas to draw conclusions.
