This research aimed to describe the students' mathematical creative thinking skills viewed from skill competence in the tenth grade of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sirampog. This was descriptive qualitative research that used two categories of high and low based on the score of KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria) on mathematics. The samples were taken using a purposive sampling technique. This research chose two subjects from each category on every skill competence. The data were collected using written test of mathematical creative thinking skill and interview. The data validation test used technique triangulation. The results showed that:(1)students on accounting skill competence with the second high category were able to fulfill all aspects of creative thinking skill, while students with the category of low were not able to make many ideas in finishing questions;(2)students on TBSM (Motorcycle Business Engineering) skill competence with the category of high and low was not able to make many ideas in finishing questions;(3)students on TKJ (Computer and Network Engineering) skill competence with the category of high were not able to make many ideas in finishing questions, while students with the first low category were not able to fulfill all aspects of creative thinking skill.
