This study aims to (1) describe the process of planning online thematic learning during the Covid 19 Pandemic to the character of student responsibility, (2) to describe the process of implementing online thematic learning during the Covid 19 Pandemic on the character of student responsibility, (3 ) describes the evaluation results of the thematic online learning process during the Covid 19 Pandemic in order to build the character of student responsibility, especially at SD Negeri 1 Karangnanas.
This type of research is qualitative using descriptive qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the thematic learning planning process online during the Covid 19 Pandemic has developed the character of student responsibility at SD Negeri 1 Karangnanas. Among them are by exploring students' knowledge, carefully preparing lesson plans (RPP), providing examples or examples accompanied by motivation and guidance from teachers and parents. While the process of implementing thematic learning through online by providing good treatment to students, including inviting students to practice material that is adapted to the theme accompanied by motivation and guidance from teachers and parents. Evaluation results of the thematic learning process includes getting students to do their responsibilities repeatedly so that it will become a good habit which overall cannot be separated from the guidance and motivation of parents and teachers in addition to the active role of the students themselves.
