Abstract
Organizations provide motivation that can satisfy employees to improve their performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of motivation and leadership style on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variabel. This research is a correlational study. The population is all state civil apparatus working at the Banyumas Regency Education Office in 2020. The sampling technique is census so that the total sample is 100 respondents. The analysis technique uses the Structural Equation Model (SEM) based on Partial least squares (PLS). The results showed that motivation and leadership style had an effect on job satisfaction and employee performance. Job satisfaction has an effect on employee performance. However, job satisfaction is not an intervening variabel that affects motivation on performance and leadership style on performance.
