Abstract

Continuous professional development is one of the teachers' efforts to improve their
professionalism. This research method is descriptive qualitative by describing,
explaining, and analyzing the preparation of teaching materials for certified
teacher educators at Korwilcam Dindik Kalibagor. The purpose of this research is
to analyze the teaching materials that have been compiled by certified teacher
educators by looking at the data, organizing the data, sorting them into managed
units, using logical thinking, logical analysis. Data collection techniques are
through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study were
targeted teachers with certified educators in the Kotip area and 3 buffers in
Banyumas Regency. From the investigation data, it includes gender, position, total
tenure and tenure of certified educators, alumni, and academic qualifications. The
results of the investigation of the preparation of teaching materials for respondents
from the seven Korwil were divided into several aspects, namely from the male
gender aspect a number of 12 people or 17.14% and 58 women or 82.86%, of this
number only 5 or 41.67% were made teaching materials, while only 22 or 37.9%
women. The positions of the respondents were mostly classroom teachers as much
as 95.71%, the overall working period from 0 - 5 years 11.4% and, 6 - 10 years
32.86%, 11-15 years 14.28%, 16 years and over as many as 41, 43%. Whereas for
the period of employment of certified educators 0 - 5 years 4.23% and, 6 - 10 years
11.43%, 11-15 years 30.00%, 16 years and over as much as 59.29%. The work unit
of the respondents is 100% from public schools, as many as 72.86 alumni from state
universities are graduates from UPI, UNY, Unes, IKIP, STAIN. Meanwhile, from
the private sector, 27.14% came from UMP, UTP, Unsil, and STKIP graduates.
For academic qualifications, 98.57% are undergraduate and only 1.43% qualify
for S2. Continuous professional development is expected to have an impact on
increasing teacher competence in the preparation of teaching materials which has
an impact on the quality of students both results and the learning process..
