This research aimed to find out the main characters' emotion classification in Pasung Jiwa novel by Okky Madasari using the literature psychology approach. The object of this research was the main characters' emotion classification in the novel. The data included the quotations related to the emotion classification which were sourced from Pasung Jiwa novel by Okky Madasari. The results included: (1) the emotion of fear, shown by the main character through anxiety; (2) the emotion of envy, showed by the main character due to the lack of confidence; (3) the emotion of joy because he was free from tension; (4) the emotion of anger, shown by the act of rejection and facial expression; (5) the emotion of sadness, showed by loss and betrayal; (6) the emotion of hatred, shown by the attack and destructive desire from the main character; (7) the emotion of shame, shown by the uncomfortable feeling; and (8) the emotion of love to a mother.
