This study aims to determine the effect of self-efficacy and Islamic work ethic on the performance of Madrasah Tsanawiyah teachers in Purallingga Regency. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is an influence of self-efficacy and Islamic work ethic on the performance of Madrasah Tsanawiyah teachers throughout the Purallingga Regency. This study uses quantitative methods. Respondents in this study amounted to 155 madrasah tsanawiyah teachers. The data collection method uses a performance scale with moving validity from 0.371 to 0.798 with 33 valid items and a reliability coefficient of 0.946. The self-efficacy scale has a moving validity of 0.311 to 0.780 with 19 valid items and a reliability coefficient of 0.899. The Islamic work ethic scale has a moving validity of 0.314 to 0.748 with 28 valid items and a reliability coefficient of 0.928. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of self-efficacy and Islamic work ethic on the performance of madrpasah tsanawiyah teachers in Purallingga Regency. The analysis carried out obtained the Rsquare coefficient of determination of 0.782, this value means that in this study self-efficacy and Islamic work ethic contributed 78.2% effectively while 21.8% was a contribution from other factors.
