Abstract

Teacher’s pedagogic competency can improve student learning results, because in the pedagogic competency of teacher, teacher is required to have the ability to manage the class, where the teacher must be able to manage the class starting from understanding the character of the students, mastering learning theories, being able to operate information technology to provide evaluations in order to measure student’s abilities. This study discusses the effectiveness of teacher pedagogic competency, and student learning results at SD Negeri Panimbang 04, Sub-district Cimanggu, District Cilacap. The method of research that’s used is quantitative with the research approach being descriptive and verificative methods.
The result of the research is that the teacher's pedagogic competency has sufficient effectiveness with an effectiveness level of 73.11%. This proves that the role of teacher pedagogic competency is very important in the learning process. Learning results have a very strong effectiveness of 96%, assessment and evaluation are tools for measuring the level of student’s understanding and as a problem solving solution in the teaching and learning process, where teachers can measure themselves to the extent which the material is teached and for students to the extent which understanding of material is captured. Effectiveness of teacher pedagogic competeny on learning results has an effectiveness level of 57.30%. While the remaining 42.70% are other factors not examined.
