Abstract
This research was motivated by the cultural program of 7K as the program to support the implementation ofcharacter education and the efforts to develop the students' environmental care character. This research aimed todescribe the implementation of 7K culture in applying the character of environmental care and the teacher'sstrategy on the teaching the character through 7K in SD Negeri Karangrau Sokaraja. This was a qualitativeresearch with descriptive method. The participants of this research included school principal, teachers, and students. The data were collected using observation, interview, and documentation, then analyzed using John W.Creswell model. The results showed that the implementation of environmental care character through 7K programwas based on the schedule while the implementation of 7K culture varied from daily, once every two weeks, andmonthly. This cultural program was not only implemented by teachers, but also by the entire school members.Meanwhile, the teacher's strategies included regular activity, spontaneous activity, conditioning, and modeling.
