Abstract
This research aimed to improve the students mathematical concept understanding skill andproductive dispositionon the seventh grade Class G of SMP Negeri 2 Sokaraja through Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectually(SAVI) learning. This was a classroom action research consisting of three cycles and conducted at even semester in Academic Year of 2018/2019. The instruments used to collect the data were the test of mathematical concept understanding skill, productive disposition questionnaire, observation sheets of teacher and students activity, and documentation. The results showed an improvement of students class average scores on the students mathematical concept understanding skill test that was 66.96 in cycle I, 68.14 in cycle II, and 70.76 in cycle III that all had reached the score of KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria). Another improvement could also be seen from the students average score on productive disposition questionnaire that was 69.38 in cycle I, 70.03 in cycle II, and 70.77 in cycle III that all belonged to the criteria of good. Based on the results, it could be concluded that the implementation of SAVI learning was able to improve the students mathematical concept understanding skill andproductive dispositionon the seventh grade Class G of SMP Negeri 2 Sokaraja.
